ABOUT US

Hello,
Our family has owned, loved and raised AKC registered Labrador Retrievers since 1989.  We purchased our first lab in 1989 she was an 8 week old chocolate female. She was named Tagg (Chauncie's Tagg-A-Roo),  OFA good/eyes cert.  She would be referred to as a field type lab. She was a smart, enthusiastic retriever full of love. She was part of our family and lived with us for 13 years.

Tagg blessed us with two litters of healthy chocolate pups.  We searched for a sire with more bone and type to use for her second litter.  We found such a dog to use with her named Kellygreens Kandyman.  From this breeding we kept two beautiful pups a male and a female.  Our children grew up with these two dogs.

These days we have resided ourself to keeping only girls at our home.  We just have not found that special boy yet since Mark left us.

All our breeding Labs have OFA hips/elbow certifications (after 2 years old) along with their yearly Eye Cerf., PRA Optigen clearances, EIC & CNM testing, and we have started heart clearances. We believe we should be diligent in our attempt to breed healthy labs if our wonderful breed is to survive and continue to be the best.

We are breeding for "english type" Labrador Retrievers.

Our goal is to produce healthy Labrador Retrievers by breeding to the standard for the correct temperament, structure, type, trainability with the willingness to please.  We believe labs should inherit a natural hunting ability but most of all be a loving member of the family.  Our labs live with us in our home and are very well socialized.
We show our dogs in the conformation ring and also work in hunt test. Our other interests include training our labs for Canine Good Citizenship CGC, Therapy Dogs TDI. Currently we have begun training  with Rescue and Recovery work with a couple of our girls.
